Fokus utama Jabatan Strategik dan Pembangunan Perniagaan (BSD) ialah mengurus, mentadbir, merancang dan mengkoordinasi aset/premis/prasarana dan kepentingan universiti dengan semua pusat tanggungjawab UUM di samping menilai, memantau dan menasihati hal ehwal perniagaan UUM dan anak syarikat serta meneroka inisiatif baharu untuk menjana sumber kewangan dan/atau menjimatkan kos universiti

The main focus of the Business Development and Strategic Department (BSD) is to manage administer, plan and coordinate university assets/premises/infrastructure and interests with all UUM responsiibility centers in addition to evaluating, monitoring and advising the business affairs of UUM and its subsidiaries as well as exploring new initiattives to generate financial resources and/or save university costs
